3 in 30 - Epilog

Twenty-three years after the termination of the 3 in 30 series, the abrupt ending might deserve a bit of explanation.

The last few entries in the 3 in 30 were a bit erratic, missing weeks at a time. This was partly because we were nearing the end of our twelve year stay in Japan. We were most likely consumed with both keeping up our work at the university as well as making preparations for moving after living in the same place for eleven years. I'm sure that many people realize how much can be accumulated in that period of time.

I believe that it was less than two months after the last entry that we were back in the States. Part of that was to get Candy enrolled and settled at Colorado State University. After she essentially grew up in Japan, it was a major transition for her too.

Both Beverly and I made some return trips to Japan, mostly Beverly and primarily for her to help with the transition of her successor. The 3 in 30 was done.
