We arrive in Auckland in the morning and are welcomed by this gate in Maori style.
Our rental car is filled with our luggage. The rest of the morning is dealing with trying to get into our rental.
We were hampered by a lack of phone connections, lack of internet connection and trying to check in earlier than expected. Plus the fact that we're all a little addled from traveling nearly half way around the globe. Once we get some of those things straightened out, it should go a little smoother.

Our downtown hotel is just a six minute walk to the Sky Tower, which is supposedly the highest constructed building in the Southern Hemisphere. While we were walking by, we saw a bungie jumper plummet down from a fenced area. Not sure that is something we would do.
