Another day on the road although it was only a three hour drive. That included lunch out the back of the car. We happened to pull over at a place that had been used by the Mouri as a defensive position for their group. It was currently an area where New Zealand was trying to get rid of the opossum population. The invasive opossums seem to be one of the primary predators of little kiwi birds.
Arriving at Whanganui, we walked into the city center and encountered this gold colored Airstream trailer. It had been converted into a a mobile burger stand. They were closed.
Accountants always seem to recognize one another so when Bev saw this building, she had to take a snap.
We wandered around, watched some rugby practice, stopped in stores, and finally had dinner at one of the Japanese restaurants.
