Zero hour. A last look out our window south before departing Sydney.
Four hours on. Non-nutritious snacks that actually lasted all the way home!
Five hours in. Last look at Sydney as we were turning east to head ESE. I can almost pick out our hotel north of the train station in the middle of the photo. The famous Opera House is obscured by skyscrapers.
Eight hours in. The Aerobus that we took from Sydney to Auckland. The flight out of Auckland to Los Angeles was delayed about two and a half hours so we spent time in the terminal.
Thirty some hours. Surprisingly chipper after the 13 hour trip across the Pacific, the delay in Auckland causing us to miss our flight to Denver.
Finally the lights of Denver on a long approach from the north. At last, we unlocked the door to the house about 12:30 am and fell exhausted into bed. Somewhere over thirty-seven hours from leaving the hotel in Sydney to walking in our front door. What a trip!
